I was born and grew up in the south of England. I changed career in 1998, retrained as an English teacher and moved to Italy following a summer teaching in London.

I was offered a job in a private language school in Bergamo, where I worked as a full time teacher until starting my own business with a partita IVA in 2005.

I now have over 20 years of experience analysing client needs, designing and teaching English language courses for a range of businesses, mainly in Bergamo and Milan, from large multinational businesses to small specialist companies and professionals.

I have taught Cambridge exam preparation courses (FCE and CAE) for Bergamo Sviluppo (Camera di Commercio) for over ten years.

I also translate articles, websites and technical documents from Italian to English.
